low genius wrote:General Tiberius1 wrote:this is a HIGHLY accurate graph of eve eve is only difficult if you listen to all the nay-sayers. they'll tell you you can't go out to nullsec for the first year. they'll tell you you shouldn't go out to low-sec for the first year, they make it seem like there's a monster living outside of high-sec. any real gamer who gets into eve online learns to get kills and dominate.

The EvE curve moves backwards on the X-axis, which represents time, so somehow as the game gets harder, it becomes so difficult that it reverses time itself. No it doesn't. There's a point at which it can potentially take a massive leap, but doesn't always have to, hence the multiple levels to the graph at the point, one of which divides into a path going up towards the eventual difficulty level and the other heavin gback down towards the more reasonable curve before once again taking a flying leap into the stratosphere. But the ozone within the stratosphere would absorb the time-canceling ultraviolet radiation rays, therefore making useless the paradox machine you created for the sake of this argument. You need to stop thinking of time as a strict single line. It doesn't work that way. More than one possibility can be considered to be valid within a single moment. My TARDIS only operates on one plain of time, I only ended up in an alternate line by pure mistake once. I discount other lines because they have no effect on our own line, unless someone pokes a hole in between dimensions, in which case we're all screwed.
-_-
did we just go into a Doctor Who conversation?

Obviously if you have the inherent ability to open tears in the fabric of existence, and provided a siphon is not hamstringing your powers, one can see through all dimensions and realities at one time, and become an ultimate god-sentient being that felt a little too "writer's convenience" to be a satisfactory ending to that game. Oh yeah, spoiler alert.
oh well, had nothing to do with the original bio-shocks, so never playing it anyway |

That wasn't actually a big spoiler, anyone that has seen the trailers knows that Elizabeth can open "tears" 2. It is one of the best games I've played since the first Bioshock, was very well done by Irrational.

I don't remember because I did everything I could to erase the stain that was Bioshock 2 from my memory. If you liked Bio 2, I doubt you'd be disappointed by Infinite, the only qualm I had with it was that it was sort of a short game.
i LIKED being a big daddy.
though yes. 1 was by far the best IMO |
